Background: Zoledronic acid infusions are licensed for the treatment of osteoporosis and other bone disorders. Hypocalcaemia, a common side effect, increases the risk of complications. The risk of hypocalcaemia is further increased by a deficiency in 25-OH Vitamin D (VD).
